E.B.A. REPRESENTATIVE

Evenlyne Bliss - standunited@shaw.ca I have been Breeding, Training and Exhibiting Eng. Bull Terriers since 1970 under the prefix 'KEM' and regularly compete with my dogs in CKC Conformation, Agility, Flyball, WeightPulling and most recently, Herding. I've held a variety of positions with many dog Clubs/Organizations and served 3 years on the 'Companion Animal Task Force' for Richmond City Council. Under the prefix 'Canine Caretaker', since 1982, I train the Owners of all-breeds in many Dog Sports including Obedience and I am a Behavioural Consultant on 4 website Directories plus assisting local Clubs in evaluating rescues. I've been actively involved with the APBTABC since 1986 when our City convened to first talk about BSL. Since that time I have been a voice for the Bull Breeds, educating the masses as I went, involving the Association in Fairs, demos and Trade Shows and more recently I have involved myself in the Fight Against BSL with an Information website www.standunited.ca which also sells a self-created t-shirt design to help Fund the Fight. The APBTABC was kind enough to elevate me to their Official Trainer in 1993 and now their EBA Rep in 2005.

Secretary

Cindy Kernovich - cdpits@hotmail.com My Name is Cindy and some of you may know me as the "C" of cdpits Kennels & Harnesses. I have been an owner of the APBT since 1983. My first APBT was an unregistered dog that I competed with in conformation & weight pulls at the APBTABC fun shows. Like the rest of us I fell completely in love with the breed and when after 14 years I lost my first pitter, the only logical step was to get another. My husband Dave & I deceided to get ADBA registered dogs as I was only able to compete at the fun shows and wanted to be able to take that further into the world of point shows. We gave up our hearts to 2 beautiful brindle dogs that we showed & pulled to several titles each. When the time came, we bred them and are currently showing 2 pups from that breeding. To date, I have judged some fun shows and hope to become an ADBA judge in the future.

Vice - President & Treasurer

Craig & Niki Huitson - craigandniki@telus.net I was introduced to my first pit bull in 1997, when I met my husband Craig. We attended our first ADBSI sanctioned show in June of 1999. In October of that year, we participated in our first fun show and we were hooked. In December of that same year, we purchased our first registered purebred American Pit Bull Terrier. In the summer of 2000 we starting showing and were actively involved with both BC clubs. We purchased our second registered purebred American Pit Bull Terrier in November of 2000. Craig became a weight pull judge in 2001 when the Western Canadian American Pit Bull Terrier Club sponsored him. Since 2001, Craig has actively managed the weight pull system for all shows for both BC clubs. We have both been board members of the APBTABC, Craig being Public Relations and currently Vice-President. I have been the Secretary and currently the Treasurer. I have been the acting Show Secretary since 2002 and won the ADBA Show Secretary of the Year Award for 2003. Craig has developed computerized weight pull and conformation programs, which have drastically saved time during the show.
